Mateo Becerra is only 11, but he already knows who he wants to be like. After learning about St. Carlo Acutis, the teen who built a website cataloging Eucharistic miracles, Mateo realized holiness is for anyone ready and willing to say "yes" to God. Watch the video below to see how a spark was lit inside this Holy Family Catholic School student at OCF’s Catholic Professional Network event in April 2025. From venerating a relic of St. Carlo Acutis to meeting Jim Wahlberg, producer of the Carlo Acutis film, this unforgettable experience brought faith and inspiration to life.

We’re deeply thankful to our partners whose generosity and collaboration make meaningful experiences possible, including the one the Becerra family enjoyed through an evening of Mass, fellowship and connection. Together, we’re building a stronger, faith-filled community. Inspiration is contagious and leadership starts with showing up. Just like Mateo, you never know who’s watching or who might be impacted by your example.

St. Carlo Acutis, the first Saint of the millennial generation, was canonized on September 7, 2025.
